I can share my real life knowledge about driving with these features.

    TMC
I only started using this recently, since I use my smartphone, my handheld doesn't support TMC in combination with non-original GPS.
    My experience is somewhat ambiguous.
Most of times traffic events (jams) are not that drastic as announced. I often see (smaller) traffic jams announced in front of me, when arriving there I see nothing. This happens every day and I can not believe the jams are solved every time. In addition, this is mostly the case when the expected delay is 1 or 2 minutes. I wonder where this (wrong) information comes from. Or the information was correct but (much) too late.
However, I have experienced useful rerouting when accidents happened on my route and the road was blocked or severely clotted. And I must put this in perspective as well, these accidents were then announced on the car radio.
As a solution so far this helps for me: let Primo reroute when the expected delay is big enough (I have set at +20 minutes)

    Histspeed
I have experienced this feature a few times in a good way. The known structural and time related traffic jams (so far only experienced on highways) are announced and an alternative is presented in time. The few times I did not accept the alternative, I got stuck

    HNR
I suppose I do have experience with this, but honestly I can not say exactly what it does. Calculate quicker? Also national? No idea.

    Hope this helps.
