It's not a requirement to have anything inside sys.txt (or even the existent of sys.txt) If your proggy is installed correctly, it should be able to use all default settings. However, if you think that you need to have settings inside sys.txt to indicate where the locations of map, poi, speedcam, skins, etc...; you can do it like this

    Hi.

Is there a line in sys.txt that during navigation "clears" the already covered part of route?

I mean the car during navigation erases the color that signifies the calculated route ahead and makes it like a "regular" road.

(I'm posting my question here because I thought I show such a setting once in a sys.txt)

...or maybe is another way to do that.

    TIA

Hi to everyone. I found on this forum that in order to show the street names actually on the road (not in the bubble above the road) we need to add in sys.txt under [3D_config] the line "disable_roadsign_navigation=1". But this disables also the Driver Alerts. Is it possible, to reactivate them back by other modification ?

Try that one for changing where the street names are displayed.
1 shows the street name in the bubble above, 0 shows it on the road.

Thanks Phildu91. It seemed right at first
but unfortunately it doesn't work (at least in simulation, but I suspect the same goes for an actual navigation).

Any other ideas? Maybe another setting missing or conflicts?

Hello everyone. Anyone knows what this entry skip_exit_numbers= 0,1,2 does for each value?

I have a similar problem If I change any settings in Primo e.g. route settings, map setting, or journeys /destinations they are not saved when I boot up again ,
I have a save folder but these settings are never there on reboot, strange as only happened recently and previous history destinations are still there.

    Hi
I have a problem which I believe, can be fixed with the correct string in the sys.text file..

Couple of years ago I purchased a Blueberry 2GO547 5" device from Serbia..
Although the resolution was not so good, this unit had a feature that I liked very much.
This feature was the ability to wake up the device from sleep mode when 5v was applied to it.
In other words, when the ignition is off the device goes into a countdown of 10 seconds then iGO goes into a sleep mode
When the ignition is switched back on the device wakes up and starts working from where it left previously..

To cut a long story short, recently the female mini usb socket got damaged on this unit so I ordered two new Blueberry 2GO547 5"

My problem with these new units is that when they wake up from sleep they show the initial iGO boot .bmp!!
The device wakes up OK, navigation is working in the background but the damn bmp is in the way!!
If I touch bottom left corner of the screen, the bmp goes away, and I can see iGO running in the background..

My question to experts is.....is there a string I can include in the sys.text file that can prevent this bmp from appearing on screen, after the device wakes up from sleep state?
