You should do it to find out for yourself instead of trusting any claim made. I'm using "mixed" maps all the time and it works flawlessly.

Two countries from different providers.

I'm using several maps (.fbl) from different providers. I also have multiple POIs for a map. You can named them to be anything; the name of the file doesn't matter. When you select "Places", there is icon that allow you to search from all or specific provider.

I'm really interested in seeing the maps of the various providers that you are using. How many? 3, 4, ...6...? Fresh maps? Very latest editions?

Of course, may vary in very customized system, but the principle is the same.

I'm a little shortened previous story.
There were still certain releases of providers that fit in with each other, but lost in terms of time, because, of course, they were no longer fresh.
On the European continent, only two providers "survived" - TomTom and here, and couple of large local (Basar for Turkey and HNR for Hungary).
In other parts of the world are more, but still they are ...sporadic and of course very localized - Israel GM, Colombia Coltrack, India MMI...etc. Only Africa is fully covered with their T4A.

Liechtenstein HERE 2018.Q3 to Switzerland TomTom 2018.06, no problem in routing. "Two countries from different providers."

Which OP already asked providers of HERE and TomTom
