iGO: which map is better in your country?

Tomtom is better in Holland (Tomtom out from Holland

) but Here maps is better in the World with more functions, more countrys

In Australia it has to be WhereIs, made by Aussie local company - Telstra. HERE missing roads and speed limits. Now TomTom purchased WhereIS-Australia.

For Romania Tomtom maps are more accurate and the last update 2015.06 has the biggest part of the latest traffic roads

For Romania, best map comes from TomTom, complete with updates. The upside consists of very few poi's but that can be corrected by HERE poi's .All providers have at least incorrect ftr. maps in RO, not to say they're faulty.

Hello!

I'm from Portugal, and over here the best maps, by far, are Here maps! Both in iGo and others.
In fact, the best coverage available is from OSM maps, but the software running them is somewhat lacking...

I used TT and HERE in the same time, in Romania, TT is the best.

TomTom maps in general, except for the local providers NNG-TopMap, Carte blanche, Monolit, Regio, Emapa, Basarsoft, ecc. But you will need a basemap installed for all of them to work correctly due to border issues. if you use only maps from one provider there is no need for a basemap.
