iGO: which map is better in your country?

For Germany ist TT better. For Romania Here.

Here is the best for Romania. TT is good too, but with strange speed limit.

I either use TT or HERE, depends on which one has most recent updated maps. Both works fine for me on the tablet I have installed in my old car. There is no internet so Google and Waze are out of interest. Actually I generally prefer satellite navigation instead of internet one.

I have been doing POI data for many years and cridgeed you with google.xx/map/(TOMTOM) and/or bing.com/maps/ (HERE):
TomTom-Map has more pedestrian cycle paths, but is often inaccurate in the course of the road.
From city to city, from region to region, from country to country, this and once the latest is.

Nextgen-Skin offers the opportunity to change the Map-Provider. It is therefore advisable to have both in the folder /map/ from the country that you travel. And then check when planning which map goes better with the spanned route?

Ultimately, everyone should decide for themselves what the best is for them.
Imo nonsense to say that this or other is better if you actually only know your area.

And if you have already tested other navigation app, you will find that the same map sometimes has deviations for each app if the app manufacturer does not take one to one in his map file.

HERE-Map by Automapa is often not the same as IGO .....

I prefer HERE map for my IFREGO `Made in China´-radio!

Thanks for the good support here..I´m glad that I find the GPSPOWER homepage(after my carradio-seller hasn´t given me a new mapupdate-link and my old maps were at Q4/2019 at that time! Now I´m at Q4/2021,yesssss! )

For iGO primo - wince on a Car GPS (chinese) I prefer HERE maps; I think they are easy to obtain updated and with good level of detail. For mobile devices running android is a complete different story.
