iGO: which map is better in your country?

Everything depends if you are driving by car or truck. Here for truck and tomtom par the car goes better. From spain

i prefer igo here maps in ireland but they dont use the new irish eircodes for serch location yet they aer on igo tomtom maps but these maps aer not as detailed as the here maps

A year of 4-5 ago i would've said HERE but recently I feel TomTom has caught up and even got better then HERE in the Netherlands imho. I can find a lot of smaller (secondary) streets using TomTom that I can't find using HERE maps for iGO.

According to HERE 2017.Q4 maps the closest I can park to the apartment i live in is 50 meters as that is the closest main road that is on HERE maps. TomTom 2017.12 maps also has the secondary smaller road that leads to the apartment and the parking lot in front of it so I can navigate all the way to the "front door" with TomTom but can't with HERE.
This is just one example of (smaller) roads that TomTom does have and HERE doesn't.

Actually, after reading these posts, ¿is there any country where TA maps are better? Because I think not even in Holland.

In many countries TomTom maps are better, sometimes it depends on if you are driving more often in the countryside or more often in the city which mapmaker is preferred. That doesn't show much in this thread.
Besides, that more posters prefer (or better said seem to prefer) HERE does it really mean everything? I don't like HERE, to name one user by name

Let's do some considering.
First of all, the numbers mean that more HERE users did post in this thread and I've seen little motivation about why HERE is preferred above TomTom (or the other way around). You don't. I did give motivation. No one disagreed with me. Which does not mean I m 100% right. And did many voters properly tested both maps?
Second, I also think that for some, sometimes bigger countries, HERE is the only one available, or the most complete, or ... so that may influence the figures. And don't come more devices or prefab soft packages with installed HERE maps? I think so. Also HERE maps are the first to bet renewed. Go to the map section and see for yourself that 2018Q1 came out before 2018.03, 2017Q4 before 2017.12, a.s.o. All this influences the users preference. My 2cts. Besides, Holland is a small country compared to ...... So not may posters, therefor, what is the value of that few opinions?
Third, many postings did not survive the forum crash, thus many in this thread. How are the numbers in those posts?
Fourth, as an example of looking past the blinkers, an acquaintance of me, living in California, changed, just for fun and testing purposes, to TomTom maps, (while HERE are the normal choice for USA) and afterwards preferred them above HERE. Unconditionally! I can't ask him which he uses now, he died a year or two after that statement.
