Thread: iGO: which map is better in your country?

In Malta and Madeira HERE is better by far.

Happen to drive in northern germany.
I found tomtom map has more details in the countryside. But on highway it couse primo to crush once.
While HERE map gave more smooth navigation on the major roads.

I am in Germany on (sort of) regular bases. I always used TomTom maps wherever I have been (Bavaria, Rheinland-Pfalz, Hessen, ...)
I have good experience with TomTom maps and they never crashed.
Better said: 9.6.13.267029 regularly crashed on highways, proposing a detour caused by (to expected) traffic circumstances. With the very same maps, 9.6.13.405512 ran flawlessly, even proposing detours!! Never had a crash since.
And the most important, I never got lost.

In Germany (Southern Parts) I prefer the HERE Maps. For me they are more accurate than TomTom Maps. The same for the maps in the USA, especially Hawaii. Found all routes and got no detours.

Here - Has become slightly problematic as of 2016

In Denmark and Germany I prefer Here maps

For the use of IGO in Tunisia Here maps is more accurate

In Slovakia it's HERE.

In Greece with iGo I prefer TomTom because is more complete than HERE and it has all the road names and numbers.
