    Wrong section. Very wrong section
Maps are not made for the device.
What navigation software is in it? (Is it Sygic or something else?)

Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

Yes, according to their site it is Sygic, but not mandatory. Differs from the market...
Run the navigation software, the start screen will give you some name information...besides, there is certainly somewhere in the settings "about" part.

It depends only and exclusively on the software

What navigation software is in it? Is there any at all?

    Yes indeed.
It says wayteq europe when i open up GPS, then when I come out of GPS (Close GPS Screen) it comes up with IGO Primo.
And bottom right of screen says map updates naviextras.com.

I have done the obvious, tried to register on that home page using a different device as my device does not show.
I have tried install naviextras toolbar, re started laptop, connected GPS, does not connect or register although USB says it is connected.
Tried using memory card and no joy.

Dont know how to update or what to do.

You are obviously not familiar with how the navigation software works ...
Aha, iGO Primo. Start it, on main screen tap on button "MORE", then on arrow for Right (bottom right corner), then on "HELP" button, then on "ABOUT" button.
Then, we have [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] section.
In it - Maps, Software, Tutorial...start from there, particularly this one:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Thanks

Yes agreed, not familiar at all, trying to help my partners dad

I have found some info based on your directions, I still do not know where to download latest files.

So under the help section is:

    iGO Primo
    GjAK branding v07
    9.6.2.209584
    Oct 12 2011
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Any ideas where I can get files to update this device?

Thanks so much for your help so far

On this Forum I told you to look under iGO section.
Hungary is part of Europe, isn't it? So > [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Look under post #7 or #10, checked, working.
