Hi to all of you, I'm a newbie, or frankly said just an illiterate in GPS stuffs :-). I've got one question: Does all written above applies to my old Garmine Etrex Vista HCx with SD 1 GB- software version 3,20 and GPS software version 2,80 to <How to get two separate map files on SD working on some older nüvi GPS models> and to be more specific, I like to install from VRU002R the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast slice only, abt 1,81 MB. For now I have only BG Topo Lat 13.12 installed on device and abt 600MB free space. Tried to install on device by using Mapsource but result was a disaster: None installed,Bg Top Lat deleted. I read somewhere in bulgarian forums vague and controversial posts that it's possible using GMapTool, that this Blue Chart format is discontinued/ inapplicable for my device and so and so for...If anyone help me with technuque on how to procede, if possible I'll appreciate very much. Thanks in advance

Yes, Giomen, but still trying to understand how it works... Mapinstal,Homeport, GPS mapper, JaVaWa GMTK, Map Source fix as well, my rifle is loaded, yet unable to shoot the correct target in " Trouble shooting" :-(
Catymag, thanks for the link, but just let me know which option to use : there are two options to download and a "code" below-I'm not kidding-I'm very serious- but still very very illiterate, and to prove it again, shall explain how I deploy/organize my Garmin's tackles :-) on my PC.: On C/prgram data I found a Garmin folder which was created automatically when I started Garmins ordeals, and on forums instructions , I put all garmin files, maps, programs etc, scattered till that moment all over PC. Don't know right or wrong, but when I download maps, I can't see them installed in Mapsource or Homeport-only some of them...may be I'm doing sth, erratically when I download, unzipp or find right place to put files, that's why I'm asking you Catymag...
So promissed is promissed: Yesterday a friend of mine, who is ahead of me in that sophisticated matter, tried to install a Blue Chart 2g, because he was sure Vision variant was not possible, in addition to Topo map on the SD, using tricks abt renaming files, but it wouldn't happen, unfortunately. Finally, it came to his mind, that he had an old SD abt half a,GB,somewhere in his house, found it and installed the blue chart, but a good f@ck up again, the SD card turned out to be in Cyrilic.... some more prayers to God of software, and finally it worked, but quite modestly...so for time being I have two SDs, but like to ask Caty: Is it possible to install the Blue Chart from the link provided by him/she on a separate SD and what capacity of SD is required, naturally, following instructions, which I dare hope to receive :-) if I haven't turn into a "pain in the ass" so far, for what I beg your pardon...
