    If you see .System folder you should find gupdate.gcd if it's present, but may be it's not present , I removed it for example

    hi cat,
    i did what neil had suggested. i updated the 4.90ver of the SW via garmin site to 5.00, and now that file is already shown on the hidden folder. it wasn't really there in the first place as i suspected. wheeew. that wasn't too good for a start. i felt like i had bought a car without a spare tire on the trunk. now, on to the 2nd stage.
