A first I changed value at address B44EB4 to B0 0E (3760). This change gave me ASR. But I haven't checked other features, one notice - there were no 3D buildings in GarminDevice.xml. Next I changed all fields to B0 0E. Then I got 3D buildings, 3D terrain and ASR. I'm not sure about the effects of each field, I haven't done tests with single value value changed, except for first check with ASR.

For ASR to work you need *.srd file and text translation *.glx with ASR section. ASR is using language settings for text. There is only limited set of languages supported and I'm not able to use english with other not supported language. You can download *.srd with WebUpdater.

Edit: do you have mic in 3750?

There are only 3 or 4 features there (4th is already enabled). For Asian firmwares:

1- ASR
2- Contact
3- Calendar
4- already enabled, not sure what it is.

For US firmware, 2- seems to be 3D building. I have not tested 3-.

Micro on 3750? I do not know, but I would not have put one if I were Garmin...

Do you have a 3460 or a 3450? It seems my 3450 does not have a microphone either...

I don't have any 34хх. I just wright changed 34хх soft in my 3790. ASR activated, but dont work with native 3790 .SRD files. Webupdater download new *.srd (russian is missing

) and ASR begin to work. New files names look like: en_US.srd, it_IT.srd.

LOL! Same for me. I do not have a 34xx...

I'll check for those .srd files.

AFAIK routes in 13xx are locked for Resolution. For example - 4,3' inches no routes (13xx series), 5' inches routes (14xx series). So maybe you could try searching for strings in the FW describing the display size or unit dimension. Of course also changing model number could work. Don't know need experimenting.

I tried to change the CE0E yesterday, but I did not try to run WebUpdater. Do you mean I should also change the "01" value at the specified address? I'll try again later when I have more time. Thanks.
