Thread: Enable 3790 features on your 3750/60

My version was simple:
B44EB2 - B0 0E
B44EB4 - B0 0E
B44EB6 - B0 0E
B44EB8 - B0 0E
B44EBA - B0 0E
B44EBC - B0 0E
B44EBE - B0 0E
B44EC0 - B0 0E
B44EC2 - B0 0E

And the checksum at the end of fw_all was corrected.

Probably patch is superfluous but it works. I'm not sure if setting a filed for 3760 means that 3790 gets features too or maybe this patch will block features in other models.

Same way just activate ASR on 3790 with 34хх 2.60 firmware
3D still don't work

You can do both... The 00 00 are a list delimiter. By putting values there, the list suddenly continues to the next 00 00. This way, you can make a list of all the devices you want to support. Check what RGN_Tool does.

How can i find model numbers in FW for nuvi series 13xx/14xx?

I cant find model numbers.
I try to enable routes in 13xx

I don't have any 34хх. I just wright changed 34хх soft in my 3790. ASR activated, but dont work with native 3790 .SRD files. Webupdater download new *.srd (russian is missing ) and ASR begin to work. New files names look like: en_US.srd, it_IT.srd.

I just ordered a replacement microphone. Hopefully it is the right one. I won't have it before the week-end, but I hope to make some tests early next week.

@lolypop000: I tried to find the information for you, but I could not find it. It may be done differently.

AFAIK routes in 13xx are locked for Resolution. For example - 4,3' inches no routes (13xx series), 5' inches routes (14xx series). So maybe you could try searching for strings in the FW describing the display size or unit dimension. Of course also changing model number could work. Don't know need experimenting.
