I think that any ancillary folders and their files which will work in the units .system folder will also work in a Garmin folder in microSD. Catymag thinks so too, see Post #3 here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. How about as roger1109 suggested, you test .G2S & .db files in there? Then you can report back the results. Of course with the detail maps on the card, you'll have plenty of room on the unit memory anyway.
