how about maps? Do I just dump it into Map directory of SDCARD and it should work?
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?

By 'it' you mean the unlocked detail map i suppose. On microSD it can go in either the Map or Garmin root folders. In Garmin only possible naming in gmapsupp.img so gmapprom.img won't work there. In Map it can have <any_name>.img, eg CN_NA_All.img or any convenient identifying naming.
