    So far Routes are not available in 13xx series.

    @scubadoo: this firmware flashing procedure does not apply to MTK models - sorry. Maybe in future we might do that as well. Can you please write here your splash version? (how-to: see post 106)

    @ scubadoo

    The trick should work also on the MTK model but it should be used MTK boot.bin to flash the Splash. I think the guys can help you prepare such .rgn.

    So far Routes are not available in 13xx series.
    They are available but locked. Not possible to be unlocked via Splash. Need firmware patch.

    Routes are locked by PCB number and cant be changed.
    If you flash nuvi series 13xx to 1460 SG firmware of nuvi ,routes is available

    I can confirm "Updated firmware for 12xx MTK ONLY! v4.80" from the first page link appears to work on my nuvi 1250.
    I have the "Junction View" menu option available in simulation mode.
    A quick test and all other functions work well.
    Now all I have to do is find an actual "Junction" to "View".
    I'm happy - well done dvazg!

    PS. Can you please tell me the (presumably) Chinese words after "Garmin" during bootup?

    Yes, this is what I meant. Hope we understand the information of PCB unlocking soon and it become public. Think you have seen Saniksanik Deluxe video with unlocked Routes:

    Didn't know that 1460 SG firmware gives Routes. Thanks. I know that Routes are unlocked if flashed with 1360/1460 JPN and with 1690 EU/US/TW/AU/CA firmwares.

    Please, I have a Nuvi 1350, how to change the FW to routes available to me?

    After the update according to this procedure we can not proximity points Garmin Radars. Is this OK? Nuvi 1350

    Saniksanik merge SG firmware with US and webupdater dont work with this firmware.
    If you explore firmware with hex editor you can change PCB number,but with every new update of firmware you must change again or your nuvi show software missing.
