    At computer
    -Drag rgn on updater.exe
    -check USB connection

    At Nuvi 765
    -Plug in USB
-Push power botton to the right (Lock position)
    -Connect to computer

    Nuvi will boot up
-Press your finger at middle of screen
-You will see a little "system" indicate nuvi is in pre-boot mode

    At Updater.exe
    -Click OK.

    Good luck

    It's easy
Make a rgn file to go back US.
-Use RGN_Tool to open original US .gcd
    -Override swv to 219
    -save to rgn

    H/R your unit
    Flash with RGN

    If boot up normally
    Rename folder to original name
    H/R again

    That's it. !!

I notice Garmin force us to using Webupdater to download the US formware. In this case, how to download the US.gcd ? Recently, US firmware released to 3.60. Should convert back to 2.50 then update by webupdate to 3.60 or direct convert back to 3.60 (but need to find a way to download the US.gcd first)

    This is direct download link
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
You can go back to 3.60 without 2.50 first.
Actually you should download .gcd file for updating later not by updating online by webupdater.
    Here is reasons.
1). Webupdater or dashboard will check your HWID out by searching in garmindevice.xml
2). HWID in garmindevice.xml may be wrong., because you may use a modified firmware that contain a wrong HWID within fw_all.bin .,
For example ::For 37xx series :: You can try to use RGN_Tool to make a rgn file
    -Use original boot.bin
-Add other regional fw_all.bin override HWID to same as boot.bin

    Flash
    nuvi boot up
Get HWID from garmindevice.xml and you will find it's wrong HWID

if you connect your unit with webupdater
Your unit may brick with wrong gupdate.gcd send from webupdater.

Thanks so much. I just dl the Sg/Mal firmware but it is .exe format, not .gcd. No idea how to perform the 3rd step.

File->Open and select your Sg/Mal firmware GCD or RGN file

•File->Open and select your Sg/Mal firmware GCD or RGN file
    Try this
    - Right click on .exe file
    -Extract files
-Then you will get .gcd inside.

    Try it
