Thread: About Garmin maps Additions files (gmap3d-JCV-gmaptz-ASR-G2S)

I have a 2445 and want to use .jcv files for my additional map. The unit came with full Europe map and junction view - works fine. I want to have an additional map on the micro sd card and if poss use the corresponding .jcv file.

I've tried putting the gmapsupp.img file on the card and the unit will recognise it if it's in the sd\garmin folder. I put the .jcv file in sd\garmin\jcv and no junction views show up on simulate route. I'e tried putting the map in sd\garmin\maps but the satnav doesn't show the additional map at all!

Any clues as to how to get the additional map to work with the .jcv file for it? Thanks

Exactly which map? And which file JCV?
