Unlocking Garmin MapSource City Navigator maps
(CNEU 2010.30, CNNA 2010.40, CN Australia & NZ 2010.30, CN Brazil 2011.10, ..., and all newer versions)

As all MapSource City Navigator products from Garmin have different file structure from other "classic" products, newer releases also installs MapSource program which does not accept keys generated with JetMouse, You have to do some preparetions and modifications for unlocking.

This different structure is visible on first sight as this products are not installed in "C:Garmin" folder but in "C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication DataGARMINMaps" on Windows XP, or in "C:ProgramDataGARMINMaps" on Vista or Windows 7.
Another way to determine if products is using this "new" structure is to start MapReverseConverter and to see if it is listed in "Installed Maps".
Only maps with this "new" structure are listed in program.

All this maps could be unlocked in MapSource up to version 6.15.7 using code generated with JetMouse keygen without any extra procedure, but if your MapSource is newer, you will have to install version 6.15.11 (6.16.1) and overwrite it with patched version.
You can see MapSource version in Help -> About window.
You don't have to install new MapSource if Your version is 6.15.7 or older after installation of City Navigator.
If you want to generally unlock all installed maps with "Garmin unlocker" (all.bat) you should not have installed ANY MapSource product with this "new" structure.
"Installed Maps" window in MapReverseConverter MUST be empty.
Using Garmin unlocker (all.bat) with such maps installed will PERMANENTLY DESTROY maps.
You have to reverse convert with MapReverseConverter and uninstall all original versions of converted maps before using Garmin unlocker.

General procedure to unlock MapSource City Navigator maps:

1. Download and install MapSource City Navigator

2. Download and install MapSource 6.15.11 (6.16.1) following procedure from this post

or

(do not forget to overwrite with patched version)
MapSource will accept code generated with JetMouse and will export maps to any drive connected to PC

3. a) Unlock map in MapSource using JetMouse keygen from this post

and Device ID from your device, and map wil be unlocked for your device only (no need for .unl file in your device)

or

3. b) Reverse convert map with this tool (important)
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
This will generate new installation in new folder
Uninstall original installation (Control Panel) (important)

and then unlock all maps with Garmin unlocker from this post

and all maps will be unlocked for all devices (no need for .unl file in any device)

4. Export from MapSource any combination of regions you need


All maps generated with MapSource using this procedure will be fully functional and unlocked (depending on step 3.) NOTE: now if FID is greater than 2200 you must patch Mapsource , read
