Sorry, bit late back into this but i see catymag has put you right with using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] which is the track i was trying to put you on in my first reply at post #29. Unfortunately i didn't see your reply post #30, only #31 which was on a new page. So i didn't realise you you had done 2 consecutive posts... another good reason to use the "edit" function rather that make following posts .

No, but maybe you tried to use the unlocker from Post#1 in this thread i suppose. Because i hadn't noticed your reply at post #30, i assumed you had followed the links from #29, but for some reason instead of the Gmap & Family Unlocker you were using Garmin Mapsource Unlocker from here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. The unlocker from the current thread is for patch unlocking a gmapsupp.img file. Both those GarminUnlockers have basically been made redundant by FastImageUnlocker & Garmin gmap and family maps (Mapsource) unlocker because the old ones don't work with newer Garmin maps. As the Trakmaps are not "new" maps i was happy to play along and test unlocking them with the "outdated" (All.bat) unlocker, which of course works. Just to confirm that, i've just deleted all the relevant files from my computer except the downloaded Trakmaps_Quad_Quebec_v7.0.1.exe, run it again, unlocked the generated Trakmaps Quad Quebec Summer/Ete v7.0.1[RTM] folder with GarminUnlocker All.bat and this time sent a gmapsupp.img from patched Mapsource, not to GMPC, but to my Nuvi 1300 which contains no other selected *.img files, only the basemap. The TrakMap is selectable, visable and routable. So, in short, many of the 3rd party Mapsource Version maps currently available may still be unlocked with GarminUnlocker, but there's a better and far more versatile tool around, as there is for unlocking .img files also.

You need FamilyID/MapId's for unlocking with Jetmouse .
