How to patch unlock garmin img

The instructions on the first page say that I should have the following in my saved location:

gmapsupp.img
garmin_unlock_script.bat
GarminUnlocker.exe
gmt.exe

I am trying to install Garmin City Navigator NT 2011.30 to Mapsource. I was going to run it through the image unlocker but it won't work. When I unrared the three rar files inside my folder it only unrared part 1. I thought if you unrared part one all three would be unrared and the image file created? Is this not the case? What did I do wrong. I know it is something I didn't do. But, after unraring I have this:

i know u posted this a long time ago but i just wanna say that the map loads now in mapedit, but my question is how do i load this on my garmin gps unit? just put it on sd card or do i have to do something else. i'm new to this stuff and ur method was great, would u please help me :D thanks

The img file unlocks and appears as Garmin Unlocked under Map Info. But can't search for an address in that newly added map img file.

Hi, I have downloaded a map wich is not a standard "gmapsupp.img". It is in a Folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\TrakMaps\TrakMaps Quad Québec v7.0.1\SummerRoutable\Imgs

And in there there is a BUNCH of small LOCKED ".IMG" files (1 to 5mbs each)

How do I get them unlocked ? and packaged into a regular gmapsupp.img ???

You've got a Mapsource Map Version. You can convert it to an image with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Have a look [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for all you need to know, just scroll down to "Have you downloaded a Mapsource map version?"

Right now I have BaseCamp 2.3.0.0

This is the link I downloaded the files
http: // download.trakmaps.com / TrakMaps_Quad_Quebec_7.0.1.exe (not sure you can see it - added spaces before and after / )
