Those error messages are from your unsuccessful attempts to load the cure RGN file into Updater.exe by pressing the named box in the GUI. Your user settings/admin restrictions aren't allowing that, so look in the same folder/directory from which you ran GarminCure3.exe, you'll see a new folder "GarminCure3-TEMP" and inside it will be several folders named "GarminCure3-xxxxxxxx", corresponding to the number of times you've tried to run it unsuccessfully. Open any one of those folders, you'll find a file named "097201000630.rgn" which should have size 16,543,686 bytes.

Download this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Extract it and place Updater.exe in the same directory with the cure RGN then drag it onto Updater to start it. Follow the instructions in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

If you can't access MSM, use the Cure firmware to re-enable it and then remove the map loaded by GarminExpress. *It'll be named "gmapprom.img" and be in the (usually hidden) ".System" folder. Once removed, load original fw and see if it now boots.

I was able to bring up the drive in storage mode and delete the file. When you said load original firmware and see if it boots I assume you mean just turn it off and turn it on and see if it boots up? I did that and have a garmin logo but no more loading map or anything. It just has the logo. But I am able to plug the usb cable back in and see the drive so I am still moving in the forward direction. I will continue the unbrick instruction after work unless I hear different from you. Im happy that its alive and talking through the usb cable. I think this will work again.

Should I follow the format step or just reflash the firmware?
