There are two different fw 2.XX versions for both US 2009-2010 and 2012 and up. As stated in previous post they are different from each other. I don't know but I do believe they are different from the EU versions.
FW 4.90 is for US 2006 -08 goldwings and some Canadian wings. Sorry I don't know the years of the Canadian bike but they use the CF card not the SD card.
You can copy the sys.bin file from one bike to another just make sure you are coping the right FW for the wing you have. I want to repeat do not copy FW 2.9 from a US 2009-10 to a 2012 and up or 2012 and up to a 2009. They are different.
