US/EU 1450/1490 like yours doesn't need this patch because routes feature is already enabled by default.

Already posted s/s of additional icon in P#9 Loly. Do you mean a 'how to' for adding routes on the device in pics?

Thanks for the screenshots tp2168, i added the files from your zippyshare link to display in your post.
BTW, the rgn file will be ignored in the SD Garmin folder, only the file gupdate.gcd is copied to the unit's .System folder then used to update the device on next boot cycle.
Actually, imho the safest way is to drag 097201000631.rgn onto [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], put the unit into [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and flash that way. Saves the 'ever-so-slight' chance of bricking using gupdate.gcd.
You're right as always Loly. Additionally, there's a new icon in 'Where To?' menu, as shown in first pic in tp2168's post above. In 'My Data' this is the standard menu in 13xx:

After routes mod, you have this same as 1450/1490:

Working on nuvi 1300, HWID=972
I used SD Memory Card method
1. Remove file from nuvi 1300
\.System\gupdate.gcd
2. Copy 2 files to empty SD Memory Card
\Garmin\gupdate.gcd
\Garmin\097201000631.rgn
3. Restart nuvi 1300
Notes:
-First Charge battery fully
-After flash nuvi 1300, copy file from
SD memory card to \.System\gupdate.gcd
Spoiler: screenshots

Does the "route capability" allow .gpi with routes to work? In another word, are there products for units with route capability in .gpi format for users to use?
