Yes, as i said i have an older plotter update file, it's for multiple units and i need to know whether i have V3.80 for yours. The only way i can tell is to match the HWID.
Maybe on your unit it's called something else like Serial#, but that's its UID or Unit ID not the HWID. I don't have a 7x1 device to hand and i said to find it "from the home screen, select Configure>System>System Information" from memory. If that doesn't disclose it, try holding the battery symbol for several seconds to enter a hidden menu, press next until you see a screen headed 'Version Information', then press 'Start Test'>'More'. In the first line look for BXXXX-xx. If that works, 'XXXX' is HWID.
