When you check as Caty's suggested you'll find that it doesn't support gmap3d.img [3-D buildings and landmarks] unfortunately. It's probably closer in standard features to a 2599 than a 3597 really, but it does have the cool dash cam with Lane Departure & Forward Collision Warnings which i'd rather have instead of the distracting 3D overlays any day. Heavy little sucker though and half-hour battery life along with over 11oz weight makes it hopeless out of the car for pedestrian use. 6.1" is a handy size screen and it's got 480x800 pixels higher resolution like the 3997 too.
