    It's because, when SYSTEM SOFTWARE MISSING is displayed, the bootloader enters pre-boot mode automatically.
    So, in conclusion, you simply didn't read the manual for GarminCure3. I'm so tired of people not reading simple instructions.
    Also I'm surprised you're brave (I should probably use the word suicidal) enough to flash a firmware patched by some program, which you're not familiar with.
    So now sit and wait for someone who knows how to enter the pre-boot mode on your device. It should be possible.
