After format and when you update your unit this file is missing:
gmapbmap.img ( basemap ) you add it already on your unit
maps , you already add it on your unit
You don't have anymore your favorites so if you have backup of folder GPX than add it back on your unit but be cerful if is damaged.
When unit wont start this file is in 95% couse for this:
Damage on:
- text
- keyboard
- .img
- voice
- GPX
Sometime text file or keyboard don't update with webupdater or GE, so look if you have text and keyboard on your nuvi in folder text and keyboard.

Today, i have copyed several files, from another 1490 backup i got, also with FW 6.20
Then i noticed that .System folder was no longer hidden, so i made it hidden (normaly its hidden, also was before)
The Nuvi drive icon in Windows is missing, should i copy: nuvi_drive.ico, autorun.inf and .VolumeIcon.icns from the
backup, or should i take them from another device ?
Also the whole EULA folder is missing ?
