Actually the tut by kunix in cure3 thread also says to firstly remove suspect files and then reformat if necessary. It's often enough to ditch Voice, Text, Keyboards & maybe Vehicles too, all of which can be easily replaced by WebUpdater or GarminExpress as can LM maps and previously purchased map downloads. GPX and POI files can also be a problem, so if you're not sure it's easier to format with RMPrepUSB and start again.Originally Posted by Alfiogigio

Some devices retain settings in NonVol memory. Speaking of which, did you clear NV or at least hard reset as it seems not? If you didn't create an NV Backup, best do that now too.

Ok, I will try to use as many files as I can, from other devices backup I made in the past.
Garmin Express and Webupdater, dont have more updates for it, so i think thats the way.
Until now, the only thing I have added, is Basemap v5.01 (from my Nuvi 3490lmt)
Sorry but I dont know what NV is, or how to backup.
Do you also want me to reset device ?
Maybe I should make a backup of favorites etc. with Garmin Express before doing so ?
