I repeated my steps again tonight but made one change when running Garmincure3 the second time.
For ORIGINAL, I used an rgn file that Garmin sent me for the 760. This rgn file got the device to where I have menus. I then added GMAPBMAP from my Nuvi 50 and I have maps now. The only features I still need are Address and POI. Both buttons say "No Data Available". So, are there files I can copy from my Nuvi 50 for that? I copied over POI folder from my nuvi 50 but that didn't seem to change anything.
Where is the Address info kept and how do I get that initialized so it works?

You are seeing a Basemap on your Nuvi "gmapbmap.img"

If you have Lifetime Maps on this Nuvi then use GarminMapUpdater.exe to get the update from Garmin Servers.The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.
