You mean to LGV710
So if you purchased LGV610 and got another device, better return it and demand yours. Although 795 is more expensive than LGV610
this was my inital reaction but as its a more expensive option id like to convert it
@sarahisathom
Are you able to confirm that the PCB P/Ns of the two devices are the same? If not, you could try a hybrid conversion using the original boot.bin from Camper 795's firmware combined with the remainder from the donor firmware and (very importantly) retaining the Camper's HWID. That way if it does 'brick' you should be able to recover it by flashing back the original full Camper 795 fw. You need to know how to access preboot mode reliably for that of course.
Note that ANY cross-flashing constitutes a risk especially if you're the guinea pig. I don't have any personal experience with that specific conversion.
Hi ,
i'm stuck with a 1390 nuvi--what firmware i should have for a 105-01554-30 ver1 PCB PN -(-it's bricked no load on sd card method or Kunix method(i have preboot but just 20-30 sec window on usb connection) maybe i must desolder the SD1N2C1-2G reflashing outside motherboard and resolder).
any suggestions ?
Thanks.
