    Hello . I have Garmin nuvicam 6 inch

    Put firmware on dēzlCam™ LMT-D 6 inch to nuvicam 6 inch

    Are there differences in hardware. Are the mainboard the same?

    All indications show it is possible

    The two devices I have share the Hardware Version shown in the garmindevice.xml

    You mean to LGV710

    So if you purchased LGV610 and got another device, better return it and demand yours. Although 795 is more expensive than LGV610

    Are you able to confirm that the PCB P/Ns of the two devices are the same? If not, you could try a hybrid conversion using the original boot.bin from Camper 795's firmware combined with the remainder from the donor firmware and (very importantly) retaining the Camper's HWID. That way if it does 'brick' you should be able to recover it by flashing back the original full Camper 795 fw. You need to know how to access preboot mode reliably for that of course.

    Note that ANY cross-flashing constitutes a risk especially if you're the guinea pig. I don't have any personal experience with that specific conversion.
