I have now done what you said, edited file in notepad and copied back to the garmin folder, but the result is the same, when I'm driving there is no voice assistant, and no Recalculation of the route, only show the actual position on map. Voice is present only in route simulation not in navigation. I think if we solve problems of route recalculation, the voice guidance will appear, it might be a problem in some of the hidden files of nuvi operating system, just a guess. The reason I formatted nuvi 660, I put a big maps over 2gb, wanted to do a clean install and format (bad idea) without backup.help please
