Firmware version of 7.40 indicates it's maybe a C4 unit with HWID2077 and if so you're out of luck. Please read [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] in gimgunlock thread, in particular:
Note: V7.40 is no longer in the changelog for C4 firmware, so it would seem it was not issued or if it was issued it was dropped [progression was V7.30 to V7.50]:If you have 2xx7 (8) (PartNumber> 006-B1582-00), works
If you have 2xx7 (8) (PartNumber> 006-B2077-00), doesn't work.
Some fw versions are solely 'OEM', i.e. factory loaded only to new units but never issued publicly. Please look at your unit's .System folder, if it has GUPDATE.GCD file in it please backup the file before updating the unit and please advise us here.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
