Hopefully, the ppl such as Loly et al with 'Navigation Software Expert' after their nicks will find a solution either doing exactly that, or something else. I have a strong feeling that we are experiencing 'Swan on Pond' syndrome at present. Apparently not much happening on the surface, but going like the clappers underneath!

Next test results with just 3 files in GPS dir:
City driving - average 15-20 m. accuracy. GPS connected to 11 of 12 visible satellites, not full signal strength /avrg. 40%/. Lowest accuracy 27 m. and highest - 10m.
Strange, but no problem with navigation process, even there I have had 27 m. accuracy. The car icon was always on the right road. All the time full signal strength green bars /not blue one/.
    Out of town – avrg. accuracy 13-16 m. Worst – 22m., best 10m.
Time to sat fix – immediately after main screen appearance.
Outside the car to open space with clear view, standing in one place – believe me, I have never seen such a thing – 3 m. accuracy, almost all blue bars on 100%. Beauty!
Conclusions: much better as navigation behavior, but still it is not 3490 or 2595 accuracy and sensitivity. I even start to think that may be my receiver’s antenna was broken and because of that the unit is so case sensitive. I have dropped down unit several times and remembering how fragile were old Nokia phone antennas ….. Unfortunately cannot check, as I am not so good in dismantling.

Here is the file that @isg talking about

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

1.) Extract rar from above link
2.) Rename in .System your GPS folder to GPS1
3.) Add GPS folder from step1 on your nuvi in .System folder
4.) Go outside, whait for satellite lock and make procedure for satellite accuracy again
5.) If all go Ok, you will have 3m - 5m accuracy

This is from EU nuvi 37xx --> 34xx with 3m accuracy beside my window i didn't test it on road, but this file test @isg

    p.s.

    Hi,

Until now always 8 - 12 meters of accuracy.
    Better, but not like 37XX.

I discovered that just trees between GPS and sky, the signal decreases by half for the satellites. So accuracy decreases until 16 meters or more and back slowly to 8 - 12 metres of accuracy.

I will be very surprised if it work
This ARC.BIN and BEE.BIN files is familiar from the times of the first GPS Chipset Type M HotFix on Nuvi765 (a couple of years later on 2x5 MTK). They were naturally investigated. During time of work the content of this files was constantly changing. Consequently it is the usual cache data for HotFix. Idea of HotFix is instantaneous satellites acquisition if device was ON after relatively small period of time in the same place (internal clock has no time much behind). It worked fine and I never saw at least one non-green band on GPS bar. After using SIRFIII device it was fantastic!!! Naturally I was trying to change this files by files from other device and time of satellites acquisition was a lot more.
May be if if you do substitute this files a device does not have appropriated data for making of Hot Start and it does Cold Start. Hence the temporary increase of the accuracy take place...
