Thread: My nuvi 7x5 has a problem! Please help!

This is Wrong:

Power off and USB cable in PC but not Nuvi. Hold finger on the upper right corner of the screen. Slide to Power on, Slide to lock, and quickly Insert USB cable."

You must do this:

Power off and USB cable in PC but not Nuvi. Hold finger on the upper LEFT corner of the screen. Slide to Power on, Slide to lock, and quickly Insert USB cable."

How long should I hold my finger in that position (when I turn it on),before I put it in the lock position?

You must hold finger all the time on screen.

When you Slide to Power on, Slide to lock, and quickly Insert USB cable, you must still hold the upper left corner of the screen and when updater.exe see your nuvi click on OK button. (you have only 10 sec to click OK button when updater recognize your nuvi)

When you run updater.exe and flesh start and when you see on nuvi screen Loader then you release finger from screen or you can hold finger all the time when nuvi flesh.
