I tried the Cure first, and the Nuvi behaved a little different during upload it said "Loader..." Then "Software Loading"... and automatically rebooted. But when done, it went back to "System Software Missing" with no mass storage access.Originally Posted by lolypop000
I then tried the Original, and it says "No updates are available for your product". Same with the Cure now.
I renamed the Original 087201000540.rgn to 087201000XXX.rgn, and it does upload again, but without the "Loader" message we got on the last one. Just "Loader Loading..." when its done.
Updater DOES now report that 5.40 is installed on the device! I think we are getting close!

Installed 5.40 via Garmin Express, did its thing successfully. But Its still stuck on the Warning screen.. Hitting agree just beeps at me.
I'll keep playing, but any ideas?

I have a feeling that some of the software files in flash may be the incorrect files now that i have swapped the firmware around. Can somebody send me a dump of all the files on their Garmin's mass storage, minus the maps?
