Thread: Nuvi 40&50 in German is Nuvi 140T&150T (Traffic!!!)+ Nuvi 40/50 to 42/52 tests

That's a series bug if it's also apparent in the actual 42/52 units (whatever they are). Has anybody seen any further report or heard anything on this 'phantom' 42/52 series, release date, markets etc, anything at all?

My 40 is running standard 40/50 fw after the disappointing results with the 140/150 fw_all.bin. When I get a chance i'll try the v2.90 and report whether or not it'll read gpx/gpi files on my 40.

Custom poi and Cyclops both work fine with V2.90 in my 40/42:

Strange, Used your Update file, Cyclops files and GPX files work now, but no custom POI. ( Where to? - Extras - Shows no POI files and using the simulator doesn't show them either ( [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ).

Your archive GPI work fine,for me...same icons in to map

I picked up you are using it in the submarine again (Elevation -39), You must stop doing that !

Neil, after you return from the submarine voyage and you will have time and possibility, check please:

Do you read your device footprint for building (in town with building footprint on CityNav) on both 40 and 42 modification...

Perhaps i have a slight case of the bends affecting my comprehension, but did 40/50 ever display building footprints, like my 2455 does for instance? CNNTAU2013.30Navteq has building footprints for major cities but they aren't read by either my 40 as 42 or my vanilla 50. I'm off to decompress while you gather your thoughts. Don't bash me up if i've misunderstood what you meant.
