Interesting! Thanks for the link. Is that the Navteq CN? More likely the Navicon CN, i suppose? When i get a chance i'll dl it to check with 40/42. Traxzero has a 50 converted to 52, maybe he already has that CN?

Yes, it is Navicom. Footprints was not available on the previous SW versions. I think it will be for all version map. I checked this fact but no device is in my hand now! You can try check on latest version of map when you want:

    Thanks!!!

    Using Navicom 2013.30
They show in 42 and in 50:
    37170 133194

But no footprints show with x2 0r x0 using CNNT AU 2013.30 Navteq:

    232423 15586

even though they are present in that map because 2455 can see them:
    30806 93401

Go figure, got me beat. Can you explain Giomen?

I can only guess. Footprints have different type of polygon on different map.

Thank you for you work. On old SW I do not see footprints on Nuvi 30,40,50 for Navicom 2013.30. So Garmin changed software.

As say above by dasilvarsa at one time Nuvi 1xxx had some casus. For this reason the Navicom was forced to release a three different map with different PID. It concerned Roads of Russia. Each of this map had own type of footprints polygon for specific devices. The same situation is for some Ukrainian map based on "footprints for all building" cartography - it have both version a 3D and a not-3D.

There is a bug in Extra POI Editor.
If you use more than 1 GPI file made with EPE in the same GPS it does not work properly.
Easy to fix, open the file in Hex Editor and at the beginning of the file there is the text my.gpi
Change it to something like m1.gpi m2.gpi m3.gpi so that each file is unique.
    Then it works fine.
The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.
