I ask him if he can scan all region on NUVI 150 not reg 150
If he scan, then we have original FW 7.30 and maybe Alex or Kunix can find out how can we enable TMC on nuvi 40 and 50.

@captain.snail, great, great contribution their. It will certainly be very well used by our creative "researchers", eager to uncover the secrets of Garmin and willing to offer the fruits of their effort for the large mass of users.
Taking advantage of your good will, would you capture the screen of " GTM Status" and "GTM FM Table"? (Diagnostics Page/Developer Info). From this information we can try to identify the family or the traffic receiver (confirming or not what Loly found above). Other information that would be very welcome is whether there is the option to insert signatures of traffic in the system. This would answer the important question raised by Dasilvarsa if the Nuvis 140/150T has only the signature of the region where they are sold. Finally, if we had photos of the motherboard also would be fantastic, but it is too much to ask, you've helped a lot ...
Without doubt worth the effort to try to enable the TMC in the nuvis 40/50 from 140/150T (and 42/52) despite differences of architecture (traffic on board, etc. ..) but I ask, especially for Alexander, who seems to know to identify the Traffic in firmware: wouldn't it be more "easy" to try to transfer the codes of traffic from of the same category of firmwares as of the 1xxx and that support traditional TMC external receptors (GTM25, 26, 35, 36, 60)? Already been tried or discussed anything about it? Sorry, if not seen discussion about it on the forum.Originally Posted by Alexander2010
