Nuvi 3790. Disappeared features? Model# loss problems ?

Hi catymag,

I have just ended up in the same situation as justo316. I upgraded my Nuvi 3790T to firmware 5.00 and... *WHAM* my bluetooth and voice command functions disappeared! And like justo316, my Nuvi is reporting that it is a 37xx instead of 3790. I would really appreciate it if you could PM me the details on how to restore back my model number and those lost functions...

Hello guys, well, I sad to be writing, but it happen to my 3790LMT, can you please please help me?

Just for reference of the forum, I just turn on the car, the GPS with it, and it lose all the configuration, even the Garmin Lock, after I entered the menu (I had to select the country, accept the agreements again) I notice I lose the Voice Commands and the bluetooth (no connection to the Eco Route HD) and yes I see in the system information 37xx instead 3790.

Sad story because I´m in Costa Rica, and I think I no longer have warranty on my GPS :S That´s why I so desperately help.

Don't do anything else to your Nuvi. It just needs some Medicine, I'm sure that Caty will send you by PM later.
You are going to need an empty microSD card.
