Yes you add xml for function that you like to enable and it works.

like i said , i.m really really novice at this stuff, so which files are for my GARMIN Nuvi 3590LMT, a basic step by step help would be very very appreciated

Hi,
I tried copying the files
DeviceConfig_VideoPlayback_Enabled.xml
GarminDevice.xml
to the Garmin folder on my 3590LMT but i still can't see the apps in my device.

Anything i missed?

Hi,
only copy the files will not work.
As i understand, you have to "dump" the 140.bin-File and then it will/should works.....;-).....
I will not try this, because i need my GPS the next 4 weeks for a USA-Trip....
After the trip, i try it....
