Thread: KNA (G520) software version summary

Absolutely you will lose the Navicom localised Russian System if you try to update it with the standard software. I have 2x KNA-G520, one with Russian System and one with western system. The western system is now fully updated. Just the Russian system to sort out now.

Hi how did you go upgrading your unit?? I have a KNA-G430TH (Thai) unit and I am trying to install the latest KNA firmware on it v4.20 and I cannot get it to update, it says nev version detected when I put in the update SD card and then I choose yes to update the software and then the screen says "Transferring data..." and nothing else happens, I left it like that for a good 20mins and still no update, power cycling reverts back to the old version .. Any suggestions??
