Hello,

please could anybody tell me, how to use (flash) GCD file? What tool is used to open it and flash it?

There is no difference in GCD files! Simply Garmin removed new 2.50 version and restored link to old 2.40 version of 17, April!
Trust me

I have too much problem with Garmin SW of "new generation" and especially for Nuvi 7xx!!!
