    If you see 4 satellites on balcony then go outside ( you must have clear view to the sky ) and your nuvi will find satellite in 5min +-

    It`s all the same. I did all things mentioned above, but they didn`t help for the connection to satellites.

    Then, unfortunately, after all you've tried it's likely there is a hardware fault and unless it's obvious and fixable when you pull the unit apart you may as well leave it in parts for spares. Sorry i can't suggest anything further for you to try. Maybe others have ideas ....

    Yes I try in the car also. At the beging of my trouble I try it first in the car for more than an hour, becouse it has no power at all.

    Did you leave the GPS with a flat battery for a long time ?
    Did this GPS ever work properly in your hands ?
    Maybe you could try to convert to 34xx (Nothing to lose really)!
    You could also try to flash some very very old 37xx firmware !

    Yes. This is the thing that I will do - flash to nuvi 3490, but before that will flash with old firmware. Can you give me link to an old version please?
    No, this device I bought from ebay.co.uk and never work in my hands.
    And what you mean flat battery?

    When you first got the device did it turn on by pressing the switch or was it dead ? (low battery)
    I think it went on e-bay for this problem.!!

    37xx firmware here.

    Flat battery means dead battery.
