Dear KUNIX..i'm here because i want to say THANK YOU for your tutorial here,i bricked my Nuvi 2465 on 21/03/2013 @ 2230Hrs,and post the problem to this forums at this thread [Only registered and activated users can see links. ],after thats sis CATYMAG linked me to this thread,i read it carefully ,and the hard step is to understand how to entering the pre-boot mode and get it linked or detectable again by my PC..after several try and error,i'ved succesfully restore back my Nuvi 2465 to its original conditions.So here i'm glad to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your post and sharing this with others like me who was very panic after bricked my gps unit..even this is not only my gps unit..but it really hurt my heart when its was bricked...after all...i'ved solved my problem in about 1 1/2 hour after continue reading and keep trying...what i want to say was..this procedure worked well like charm with Garmin Nuvi 2465....so any of this 2465 owner who bricked your unit..just keep reading.

Hi all friends I have nuvi 465Τ but I have not succeeded. Can you please send me in it cure firmware Please?. My device continue reset after show Garmin logo. i m try many times Thanks you very mutch

Creating cure firmware is 2 seconds task and very easy , retry.
Even if we post a cure for your device ,you must follow starting post , understand what you must do with it and perform all the steps.
Alternative is: send your Nuvi to Garmin for repair or trash it . Better to read with care post n1 and dont be lazy

catymag thanks for replay . i read all post here and other post in this site i know GarminCure3 is easy and i m not lazy but my device make continue reset.

Ps : have you flashed original sw after the whole procedure?

Catymag Thanks for answer me. My start problem is my garmin 465t continue restart on garmin logo. first i use original GUPDATE.GCD from my backup files. i use GarminCure3 and make firmware original.
say the update was successful Nothing happen. After i use other version nuvi465T_GCDFile__410.gcd ,nuvi465T_GCDFile__420.gcd etc and i make cure firmware say the update was successful. but always my device not start continuily reset. sorry for my english

First you must make cure with the right firmware according to your device HWID,or your old GCD shows.
If you dont know it use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Then flash cure by Updater.exe in preboot, format nuvi following this: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] -
After formatting ,reflash original firmware in preboot with Updater.exe :Nuvi cant boot with cure firmware, it's made to remove problematic files plugged USB to pc or to format nuvi.
Then run Webupdater.
All the steps are necessary in your case I think, but you havent written what happened before having this problem , so I cant help.

catymag milion thanks for help me. i do all this and before except preboot format beacuse RMPrepUSB program dont see my Garmin. My Garmin is preboot but not see tha drive ( i check from control managmant) this is mystery. My HWID 943 SW VERSION after update 4.20 and webupdate. not find my device..
