    @atreio
    Because you wrote the wrong command. I guess.
    It's not up to 2GB of memory.
    You can make a mistake with dumping but not for writing.

    I did it step by step i dont know what im doing wrong; In a clean SD " i saved boot.bin from nuvi34xx_GCDFile__710.gcd and renamed as ldr.bin and put it in /Garmin/Updater/1378 with update.txt with ''rrgn,140,1:/140_backup.bin
    reboot'' inside.
    Its easy but it doesnt work for me.

    As far as I remember right folder for ldr.bin is /Garmin/Updater/1376
    It's because 34xx HWID is 1376 not 1378.

    What do you mean by this? Do you have file update.log in /Garmin/Updater/1376 folder?
    EDIT:
    Extract archive in SD card folder /Garmin/Updater/1376.
    Insert SD card into Nuvi SD slot and power device.

    Can you do inventory test ?
    Look at first lines it will give you model number. (example for 1300: Boot BLK B0972-00 6.10 bla bla bla)

    Press Battery Icon 10 seconds.
    Next
    Start Test
    More

    These steps for 13xx should be similar for your unit.
