This thread was intended for 37xx transformed to 34xx. We realized that since sw 7.10 cant enable or disable features anymore.
To do it , must go back to old firmwares- I added a note in post n1
Flashing from sd still works or use this new app:

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
I have MapSource 6.16.3 and 3790 to 34xx with firmware 7.10.
But, I cannot upload maps (img) from Mapsource to 34xx! Mapsource didnot find device.
Can you see the device as a removable disk in windows explorer. ?
If the answer is yes maybe your garmindevice.xml is corrupt.
If the answer is no it might be USB Cable related.
Have you set it in MTP Settings menu to Mass storage mode ? (See post n1)

Bingo! When I flash to 34xx, I use firmware 6.xx a set all as post n1. But I use webupdater to up firmware. It is work OK, but when I upgrade to 7.10, start problems. Now I set up to Mass storage and works OK. Thank you!
I have one problem in original 3490,i cant go to preboot over battery icon,updater.exe wont detect nuvi,but preboot when nuvi start work OK.
Anybody have the same problem in FW 7.10?
I am trying to upgrade 3790LMT to 34xx but during the process I was not able to preboot.I tried the left corner and center, some time it will show system, and then loading... then boot normally.
Tried alternate method, entered diagnostic mode by pressing battery icon for 5 seconds and then connect USB cable to computer. In any of the above method my computer was not able to recognize Garmin during the preboot/diagnostic mode.
Have been trying this for hours. Any one could guide me to enter to preboot mode.
Thanks a lot.
