Make a backup !!!!!

Also make backup of region 140 if something go wrong.

Hi all,

did every backup even the 140 region, made my 37xx to 34xx and was really very happy with it. one more question is if i want to flash the 34xx start-up screen do i need to delete update.gcd rename folders (text, vioces, etc.) and do the whole process again and especially clear nonvol, reset and mass storage?

Just flash logo, you dont need to remove or rename anithing

ok i did what you ask just flash logo. my nuvi now is stuck with software loading... i read in some post here he had the same problem software loading, he then disconnect the cable from the computer and Turned on the nuvi after a while the nuvi started normally with the GARMIN logo. Mine is still stuck with software loading what do i do next? Do i need to wait for awhile let my nuvi turn off by itself or hold the power button for how many sec?

fixed stuck at loading software... just hold power button until nuvi turns off then power it back on and viola the logo is their

The best procedure to flash logo is over SD,becouse you dont stuck.
When flashing over SD (it takes few seconds) is finish nuvi start up normaly with logo.

Just a dumb question. I have a Nuvi 3450 and had enable all feature posted attachment in post#1. Now in the App --- i have Smartphone Link and Bluetooth enable. Based on the Garmin site for nuvi 3450, Bluetooth is not in nuvi 3450. Will the Smartphone link work? I try to "find my phone" but nothing show.
Question: I can't use smartphone link since Nuvi 3450 does not have Bluetooth technology and 2nd I can't use Voice command since nuvi 3450 do not have voice command technology. Am i correct? or there's other work-around on this?

hi. i pasted all the enable feature (.xml) in /Garmin folder and everything enabled. Now when i look inside /Garmin folder, i do not see all the .xml that was copied. I only see GarminDevice.xml, Daig folder, and LEX_PKG folder. Where are all those "enable feature (.xml) that was pasted? Is this normal that all pasted .xml disappeared?
