I didn't know who is the author.
BTW kunix stated "No, this is not the way Alexander does it. Alexander's way is more universal, because it doesn't require that the firmware boots at all."

I thought that 2x0 didn't support ldr.bin, but looks like it could work. Probably nuvi 2x0 needs update.log to be present next to update.txt.
