I see that you have large reputation and big experience and I really appreciate this, but I think that you made mistake.

I try several different maps on this nuvi 2559 and every time I have same message:"Maps are corrupt and cannot be used. Go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to download the latest maps." Maps are unlocked and I use them several times on old nuvi devices without any problems

HWID of 2559 is 1758 and software is same like for 2599 and I download from here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

I have IMGPatcher v 1.30 as of 15-06-18 and there are files with explanations for patching and using. I attach part of this file and you can see that there is firmware protection.

I use same computer 1-2 years and I connect few Garmin devices every week. Everything is OK with drivers, USB ports, cables... There is some hardware problem with this nuvi 2559.

But this is not too important.

My basic question was how to update firmware via SD card, unpached or patched. Is there some reserved name of gcd file, reserved folder location...
