Are you using a Garmin USB cable?
What are you trying to contact to?
PC Laptop version of Windows
Do not use a hub to connect you 2559
Try removing you usb drive for Garmin and reinstalling it again.

You do not need to patch a 2559 it will work with any maps.
Plus the 2559 is a LM version for Europe.
That means Life time map updates.
There are no patched maps here you will have to buy other maps other than what came with the GPS.

Hi!
Yes, I use Garmin USB cable.
My OS is Windows 10.
No, I do not use USB hub, I connect device directly on motherboard.
My other Garmin nuvi devices can connect to PC without problems with same cable on same USB port.
Nuvi 2559 has LM by Western Europe. I need patch for nuvi 2559, because I need map of all Europe.
I have patched firmware, but I don't know how to install firmware without USB connections, only via SD card.
